Tuesday, tuesday

The storm is long gone. We were out of power for 35 hours, but luckily had water so we could shower. We are inland, so we were rather lucky with the weather.  I felt awful during the storm, but survived. Nothing like having limited coping skills during a crisis, but we made it and all is safe and well.

I am catching up on my rest and heading back to work tomorrow. Head is clear, energy has come back quite a bit since yesterday, and working on getting my attitude back.

FIL is not doing well and still in the hospital.

We were all ready to say "Good Night, Irene." We were braced for a big storm, but it wasn't that bad. That's because we're 20 miles inland from the Chesapeake Bay and 120 miles inland from the ocean. Parts of Annapolis, which is on the bay, are still without power. Rest well today and get your energy back. Sorry to hear your FIL is still in the hospital.

Hang in there, Lena. Thank God you're all ok. I was worried about you not feeling well & having to deal with all of this. Thankfully, it's over & we can all get back to semi-normality.
Take care of yourself,
Maria

I'm sorry to hear your FIL is not doing well and hope that changes, soon.

Glad you could at least shower! Many here still are without power. They're now saying all should be restored by Friday. We're still very lucky, though.
