My aunt had her surgery today. She is in intensive care and the next 24 hours they will be watching her very closely, but they said she did well with the surgery. My sister was able to get up to the hospital to see her and my aunt opened her eyes a couple of times, at least she knows on some level that family was there for her.

I'm so glad that things look good for your aunt. I hope she recovers nicely and is out of the hospital soon. I hate hospitals...both of my parents spent so much time there. I'll pray for your aunt.

She's through the hardest and most dangerous part, the surgery. I will be thinking of you during this and praying for her.
