in recent months, the book that had a strong impact on me is "l'enfant bleu" by Henry Bauchau. There is unfortunately no English translation as yet. story of the growing up of a borderline schizophrenic boy/adolescent/young adult and his relationship to his therapist/teacher/mother... amazingly beautiful and harsh... simply loved every single word of it!!
